In the inaugural AMC "Sites and Bites" lecture, Dr. Leticia Rodriguez, Assistant Professor at the University of Houston, will be speaking about her current excavations at Antiochia ad Cragum (Turkey) on March 26. All Rice undergrads of any major are welcome to attend!

In this and in upcoming "Sites and Bites" lectures, you'll have the chance to hear about groundbreaking discoveries from experts in the field and to ask any questions you might have, all while enjoying a delicious (and free!) lunch. All Rice students are welcome to come grab some lunch at the Department of Art History Fall 2025 Course Preview Lunch and Open House on Friday, March 28.

At the lunch, students will get an opportunity to see all the Museums and Cultural Heritage Studies (MUCH), Art History (HART), Cinema & Media Studies (CMST), and Ancient Mediterranean Civilizations (AMC) courses offered next semester and ask our faculty any questions about our curriculum and courses. Come chill with other art history friends and peers in the beautiful spring weather! As always, students of all majors are welcome as we have many D1 courses to offer, and we invite everyone to enjoy a meal in community with one another.
